Come, learn Spanish… and live it!” With this motto in mind, the Costa de Valencia offers Spanish courses based on three main pillars: quality in teaching, social and cultural activities, and reasonable prices.

The Costa de Valencia, Spanish Language School, is an academy dedicated exclusively to teaching Spanish. It is located in the city of Valencia. It remains open all year long and it teaches Castilian Spanish to students from all over the world, to whom we offer a very broad range of courses, different lodging possibilities and an extensive social and cultural programme, with the purpose of achieving full
linguistic immersion.

The warm and relaxed atmosphere of our school makes itpossible from the very first day for our students to become integrated and sufficiently confident to express themselves in Spanish.

The Costa de Valencia staff is made up of young Spanish teachers with extensive experience in teaching Spanish to foreigners and they all hold university degrees.

Our teaching method is based on specific programmes which are aimed at immediate application of the knowledge acquired. The grammar, pronunciation, comprehension and conversation exercises are designed so that the participants in our courses can cope with every day situations without any difficult whatsoever.

In addition, our teachers and our students maintain a friendly relationship which enables them to prepare and participate together in the extra-curricular and free time
activities which the school organises in order to facilitate the student’s immersion in Spanish society.

At the Costa de Valencia, we feel that teaching Spanish is not limited only to learning the language, but it should also include a familiarity with the culture and lifestyle of Spanish society, and for this reason we consider the Programme of Cultural and Free Time Activities as fundamental, which we carefully prepare every day for our students. According to our motto: “Ven, aprende español... ¡y vívelo!” - “Come, learn Spanish… and live the Spanish experience!”, these activities are designed so that our students get to know and participate in the city’s every day life, get to form a part of it and end up feeling during their stay that they are just one more “valenciano”.

The programme begins for our students with a visit to the historic centre so that they can learn to move about independently through the city as of the very first day. During the week, activities are organised daily, like going to the cinema, attending typical dinners, soccer matches and beach volleyball, etc. In addition, the possibility
also exists of taking free dance lessons several days a week. On week-ends, visits are paid to different areas of the city and a variety of activities are programmed, such as rafting or some other type of adventure. We also organise periodical visits to the “Terra Mítica” theme park and to museums, monuments and institutions of social and cultural interest: The Cortes Valencianas or Valencian Parliament, the Bullfight Museum, the Science Museum, Sagunto Castle, the Hemisférico Museum, the Oceanográfico Museum, etc.

This very broad offer of cultural and leisure time activities not only helps students to learn Spanish, but after class, they can also enjoy a “little vacation” in our Community.
