The Colegio Maravillas is located in Benalmádena: a large town situated in the heart of the Costa del Sol, just a few minutes from the international airport and well communicated by train with the centre of Málaga. The city is located at the foot of the Sierra of Mijas mountain range, beside the Mediterranean Sea.

A 2 km walk along the Paseo Marítimo (Sea Promenade) will bring us to Puerto Marina, one of the most popular places for practising water sports and for enjoying the broad commercial, entertaining and gastronomic options.

The School, founded in 1976 as a private secondary high school, opened a Spanish Language and Culture Department for Foreigners in 1978, in a separate building in the centre of town. The Spanish School was completely re-furbished in the year 2000 and now has 13 large and bright classrooms, equipped with an audio-visual system, DVD and air-conditioning, a library with an extensive range of books available to the students, a multimedia room with free Internet access, a lecture and 25 seats-projection hall, a large terrace, other large halls, etc.

The teachers are all native and highly qualified and the classes are based on a direct communicative method, using extensive audiovisual material. The groups are small, with an average of 8 and a maximum of 10 international students per classroom, allowing a more personalised attention to the student and a greater opportunity for expression.

We offer a large variety of courses in order to meet the student’s needs: from programmes for university students to courses for business executives, from a beginner’s level until more advanced and higher levels, from a general course to specific programmes for Senior Citizens and for teenagers...
